Audio - At the cutting edge of microphone development. The
Korby Covertible offers a 4 capsule solution for your
most exacting recording projects - incorporating the classic
Elam 251, C12, U47 and U67 designs, the sonic options are almost
limitless. To find an original set of microphones in top working
order to rival this selection would probably set you back at least
3-4 times the Korby asking price. The 4 capsules can be changed
mid-session.

Tube (Red) Hand made, tailored to fall within the tone of
the classic AKG large diaphragm family. (C12. Elam etc) Free floating
diaphragm gives you extended top end and air that we are all looking
for in a microphone. Beautiful silky top end found in the most

The Korby KAT
Tube (Blue) Hand made, tailored to fall within the tone of
the classic Neumann large diaphragm family. (47,67) Powerful and
forward mid range helps vocals sit well in a mix. But also try
it on instruments and elsewhere as it's versatility will make
it one of your favorites in your mic closet. Includes power supply,

The Korby KAT
FET Hand tuned, solid state microphone. Tight low end with
nice open top end. A FET microphone fitting into the Korby standard
of quality for all studio applications. The Korby FET belies it's
size and sound. Try it on your over heads, you'll be impressed,
then go from there, it will find it's way into your mix. Handles
high sound pressure level. Requires 48v. Includes case. Contact

The Korby PYE
"type" compressor/limiter is based off the original
vintage PYE circuits, transformers and layout. Beautiful on vocals
, drums, bass, guitars, etc. Rich, warm coloured and fun to use!
If you are looking for colour, you found it. It is not a transparent
compressor. Late 60's Beatle's and PYE studio's recordings come
to mind. Tracy Korby went to great lengths to reproduce the audio
tranformers, (hand wound) critical to the unique tone. Pots are
gold plated, steped, switched, just as the originals. No expense
has been spared on these reproductions. The construction of these
PYE type compressors are labour intensive and will be availalbe
in limited quantities.
