Pigtronix OFO
The Pigtronix OFO Disnortion features a touch sensitive Overdrive,
Fuzz with 6 different filters and frequency doubling, Octava.
Each effect is an original design and can each be used independently
or in combinations to forge a tremendous range of musically responsive
distortion sounds. The unique magic of the Pigtronix OFO Disnortion
is parallel Fuzz and Overdrive, allowing you to pile on the gain
without sacrificing clarity, dynamic response, punch or low end.
Well voiced tone and shape controls allow you to focus each effect
on its own frequency range. The Octava is wired in series before
the Overdrive and Fuzz, allowing the pedal to produce a unique
type of gated, knarly grind that is absolutely devastating. A
buffered output provides a clean signal for parallel processing,
direct recording or a side-chain trigger source for the Pigtronix
EP-1.
Overdrive –
We can assure you that there has never been an Overdrive quite like
this. The Pigtronix Overdrive responds to the dynamics of your playing
using a propietary, 5-stage gain architecture that retains the natural
tone of your instrument, while gradually breaking up as you play
louder. Our circuit is so touch sensitive, it has been described
as “...more tube than tube.” You must hear it to believe it! From
Clean or Gritty Boost right up through Plexi roar, the Pigtronix
Overdrive is the most musical Overdrive ever made. Fuzz –
Massive Gain, Full Bodied Sustain and Flexable Tone Shapes define
our FUZZ effect. Pigtronix’s unique version of diode-clipping provides
plenty of compression and controllable feedback while preserving
the dynamics of your playing style. The rotary tone control switch
provides 6 muscial EQ curves: Bass, Scoop, Treble, Smooth, F.A.T.,
and Full Range. The Pigtronix Fuzz can go from Clean Boost to Hair
Raising, Shred Fisted, Freak Out Pandemonium! Octava – This
frequency doubler effect makes the notes you play sound one octave
up. A Filter control allows you to achieve singing octave up tones
without adjusting your guitar’s tone control. Stable intervals such
as 4ths and power chords result in knarly, tweezed out grind, while
other intervals create ring-modulator textures in all registers.
The Octava is wired in series with the other two effects for harmonic
filled lead tones and outlandish bizarre crunch. Combine the Octava
with both Fuzz + Overdrive and... fuggetaboutit!

Pigtronix EP-1
Envelope Phaser
The EP-1 features an incredibly fat and vocal, touch sensitive
envelope phaser as well as a deep and chewy, univibe style rotary
phaser with enough controls to dial in your own special sauce.
The EP-1 is an expressive,
flexible, dynamic effect with a warm analog personality, versatile
tone palette and a stage friendly interface. EP-1’s "EF trigger"
input allows an instrument’s sound to be phase modulated by an
external audio source such as a drum machine or laptop beat. This
side chain input can even be used as an FX loop for maintaining
accurate envelope response when using other effects in line before
the EP-1.
The Envelope Phaser
also features footswitchable phase inversion, expression pedal
speed control for mind bending rotary speaker effects and can
even be used as a clean analog fat booster. Destined to be the
modulation effect of choice for many guitarists and bass players
looking or that elusive "liquid tone" the EP-1 will also find
itself at home in the hands of scratch DJs, laptop musicians and
recording engineers

Pigtronix PHi
Echolution
The Echolution is a dual delay, with independent Tap Tempo and
Modulation delay modes. This arrangement allows the musician to
switch between different delay sounds on the fly. When set to
Tap Tempo mode, the Echolution has a maximum delay time of 20
seconds and a minimum delay time of 10ms. An on-board momentary
switch lets the musician easily set the tempo of the delay. The
Modulation Delay mode operates over three distinct time ranges,
providing easy access to a huge array of delay based effects.
The short setting (10ms-120ms) provides stereo chorus, reverb
and slapback sounds. The medium setting (100ms-1.2sec) covers
classic BBD and tape echo territory with lush modulation and rich
analog sound. The long setting (1sec-12sec) allows for sound on
sound, looping and reverse playback as well as rhythmic multi-tap
patterns and pitch bending madness. What truly sets Echolution
apart are the Multi-Tap toggle switches which introduce any combination
of five additional echoes at musical fractions of the master delay
time. The values of these fractions are based on quarter notes
and triplets. Engaging the PHI switch realigns all of these fractions
to values based on the Golden Ratio. The Golden Ratio creates
a spiral rhythm that is found throughout the universe. It is observed
in the shapes of galaxies, sea shells, DNA, the Egyptian Pyramids
as well as in the work of many great musicians. Chorus (pitch)
and Tremolo (amplitude) modulation of the delay signal are controlled
by a single analog LFO. Independent depth controls allow both
types of modulation to be blended for rotary speaker sounds and
other warped effects. An Expression pedal input for changing the
delay time gives the musician even further stage friendly control
over the Echolution’s time and pitch bending capabilities. Other
thoughtful features include a stereo blend control that mixes
the pure analog input signal with the echo signal, a Trails switch
that allows echoes to fade gradually after the effect is bypassed
and a input Drive control, which can push the echoes into massive
saturation. True stereo outputs provide breathtaking 3D sound
when used with two amps or direct into a mixer. The Echolution
contains a Loop feature that freezes the content of the delay
line and repeats the captured audio. When the loop function is
engaged, all of the modulation and multi-tap functions remain
active, allowing you to warp and manipulate the sample beyond
all recognition and then back again to its original sonic form.
The Echolution can also operate its delay line in Reverse for
backward sounds that are truly psychedelic. Reverse and Loop Functions
are both switchable via a two button TRS remote switch. A variable
Hi-Cut filter gives continuous control of the LPF cutoff frequency.
Runaway Self-Oscillation can be achieved by cranking up the Feedback
control. Once a sample is looped, it can be manipulated and warped
by changing the delay time and multi tap settings.

Pigtronix Attack
Sustain
The Pigtronix Attack Sustain is a polyphonic amplitude-envelope
synthesizer that provides volume swell with variable attack time,
compression / sustain and variable decay with automatic reset.
At the heart of the Attack Sustain is a revolutionary, newly designed
compression / sustain amplifier. When the Attack and Decay functions
are switched off, the pedal creates a punchy yet smooth compression
that allows your instrument to sustain as long as you want. The
Attack and Decay functions provide a wide range of swell and fade
times and pallete of effects that range from cello and trumpet
to tape reverse and toy piano. With short attack and decay settings,
the auto reset allows you to create pulsating tremolo and staccato-stutter
effects. The Attack Sustain is a far reaching evolution of the
Electro Harmoinx Attack Decay. For lovers of the Boss Slow Gear,
Ebow and/or Fernandes Sustainer pickup, this is the ultimate pedal.
In keeping with the tradition of the Attack Decay, we've included
our own twist on the "Harmonics" control, which adds a layer of
sweet distortion as well as a HIGH-BOOST switch that adds clarity,
presence and natural overtones. The BLEND control allows you to
mix in a clean sound for undulating volume swells when using the
ATTACK / DECAY functions or for super transparent compression
sounds when combined with the Sustainer function. The VOLUME control
allows you to boost the effect's signal level significantly above
unity gain. The Attack Sustain is an interactive pedal, that relies
on the player's touch to determine when the attack and/or decay
cycle will begin. The TRIGGER input jack allows the touch sensitive
Attack and Decay functions to be controlled by an external source
such as a band mate or drum track. This side chaining technique
results in some exceptionally bizarre and cool interactions between
the rhythm of the trigger source and the amplitude of your instrument.
Creative circuit design allows the Attack Sustain to mimic bowed
string, horn and synthesizer textures without altering the essential
"tone" of your instrument. Designed in conjunction with effects
guru Howard "Mick" Davis, the Attack Sustain is a 100% analog
design. "Back in 1978 I designed the Attack Decay for Electro-Harmonix
to answer the need for a tape-reverse effect pedal. It did that
and much more, and its price has since gone through the roof.
It was not polyphonic however; it could only track single notes.
In 2006 I created the ATTACK SUSTAIN as a state-of-the-art, polyphonic
upgrade, and it can do far more than the original Attack Decay.
This is a true amplitude-envelope synthesizer for guitar, far
more versatile and easier to play than its predecessor. I'm proud
of it!" -- Howard "Mick" Davis
