of professional audio recording and touring for over 25 years.

XTRAMIXcxi Version
5 Ultra Compact 8 Bus Line Mixer

What is the XTRAMIX
?
The new Speck
XTRAMIX "Version 5" is the coolest little 8 bus mixer in the world.
It squeezes 76 inputs, 18 bus outputs, and the power of a large
recording console into a superb mixer only four rack spaces high.
Xtramix Applications
Desktop Recording.
We're not kidding... we'll give you a pretty darn complete recording
mixer in just a few rack spaces. With the XTRAMIX, the "console-less"
studio a reality. Wire-up the Xtramix like you would any other
8 bus mixer -- to ProTools, MOTU, or any digital recorder. The
76 inputs and 8 bus design gives you the flexibility to handle
a wide variety of recording operations.
A Super Submixer.
The XTRAMIX
is a super submixer for those input hungry digital mixers. Save
those digital input channels for your multitracks and use the
XTRAMIX to submix all your samplers, keys, and extra effects.
When you connect the 8 bus outputs of the XTRAMIX to your digital
mixer, you've now tripled the input capacity of your studio.
For Session and
Touring.
Speck Electronics has long been known for our high performance
rack mount keyboard mixers, and after 25 years in the mixer business,
we know what we're doing. For touring and session work, the XTRAMIX
is the only game in town. The XTRAMIX is on tour with the Rolling
Stones, Billy Joel, Elton John, U2, Shakira, and more.
A World Class List
of Customers.
Speck Electronics is proud to be a part of the success of many
of the worlds best composers, producers, and touring musicians.

8 bus assign, 8 effects sends, and in-place solo. The rear of
each input channel has stereo input jacks, high/low levels select
and effects stereo/mono switches.
8 stereo effect
returns - Each effect return has a stereo level control, pan,
8 bus assign, mono and in-place solo switches.
8 channel monitoring
- Each with stereo level control, pan, mute, solo, and bus/line
select switch.

SPECK LiLo Line Mixer

What is the LiLo
Mixer?
The LiLo is
a high-definition desktop analog line mixer for routing and blending
your external gear. Short for Line-in/Line-out, the LiLo was designed
as a "quiet-transparent" platform that allows you to build a mixing
system using the gear you already own.
LiLo Design
Philosophy
One glance at the LiLo and
you will realize that you are not looking at a conventional mixer.
The first thing you will notice is the minimalist layout of the
LiLo. This unpretentious design lacks mic preamps, equalizers,
and is in short supply of knobs and switches. In their place,
we bring you a well-designed 32 input mixer with unmatched signal
routing, generous amounts of headroom, and a transparent signal
path.
The Lilo has been designed with the specific idea that you want
to connect and mix your external gear and DAW without the limitations
imposed by traditional recording consoles..
LiLo rear view

to +28dBu. Balanced transformers are standard on the main feed
and are optional on other outputs.

SPECK Model ASC 4 Band EQ

What
is the ASC?
The Model
ASC is a professional single channel 4 band equalizer in a 1/2 rack
format. It is simple...it is useful...and it delivers the high quality
and specifications found in all Speck Electronics gear.
This compact 4 band parametric equalizer has 12 controls for equalization
adjustment that covers the audio spectrum from a low 20Hz all the
way up to 25kHz.
There is a - 12/+6 dB gain control that handles the level variations
when patching between balanced and unbalanced gear. A bypass switch
silently removes the equalizer from the audio path.
That Classic Sound
You'll hear
none of the thinness and edginess experienced with some other outboard
EQ devices. The Speck Model ASC is reminiscent of vintage equalizers,
revered for their dynamic range and musical performance.
To enhance the classic EQ experience,
the Model ASC offers balanced transformer and active balanced outputs.
4 Sweepable Bands
L Band - a low band that incorporates
a "Simulated Inductor" (si) design that sweeps the low frequencies
from 20Hz - 150Hz. This band offers a Peak/Shelf select switch.
L/M Band - a switchable low and mid band. This fully parametric
section can be switched between a low frequency band that sweeps
from 40Hz- 800Hz, or a mid frequency band that sweeps 400Hz-8kHz.
This band has a variable bandwidth adjustment.
M Band - a fully parametric mid band with a frequency sweep range
from 400Hz to 10kHz.
H Band - a high band that also incorporates a “Simulated Inductor”
(si) circuit that adjusts the high frequency from 4kHz all the way
up to 25kHz.
The Model ASC Rear Panel

Connect the ASC to virtually
any line level source: balanced, unbalanced, or mixer inserts.
The Model ASC has high headroom that will handle balanced signals
up to +28dBu

SPECK MicPre 5.0

What
is the MicPre 5.0?
The "MicPre
5.0" is a complete single channel microphone preamp that offers
features and flexibility for use in the most serious recording applications.
The signal path consists of a matched discrete transistor front-end,
premium IC's, and transformer output stage. With the push of a button,
the MP5.0 can change from an "Transformer-Balanced" output to a
"Active-Balanced" output. The compact 1/2 rack format of the MP5.0
can easily be rack mounted and combined with the Speck Model ASC
equalizer to create a highly functional outboard channel strip.
The MicPre 5.0 also includes a mix section that makes it perfect
for DAW's and remote recording.
Key Features
Matched discrete
transistor input / transformer output. - 70 dB of preamp gain. -
Precision stepped gain control with variable trim control. - Variable
high pass filter. - Mix output section with level, pan and mute.
- Mix section can be "linked" with additional MP5.0's. - Transformer
"and" active balanced outputs. - High resolution 10 segment LED
VU meter. - Internal power supply with toroidal transformer. - All
input, output, and insert connectors are balanced. - Can be combined
with the Model ASC EQ to form a Channel Strip.
What is Mix Node on
the MicPre 5.0?
The mix section of the MicPre 5.0 provides
a separate left/right mix out with level, pan and mute. With only
a simple interface cable, this mix section, or "Mix Node" can be
linked with any number of MP5.0's to form a fully integrated mix
section. In many situations such as desktop or location recording,
this expandable feature of the MP5.0 can eliminate the need for
a separate audio mixer.
Flexible signal routing
The MP5.0 is more than a mic pre. It
gives you a surprising number of signal routing alternatives. Just
use your imagination when plugging up the MP5.0.
Since the MP5.0 works with balanced or unbalanced gear, you will
not be stuck looking for the proper cable or worrying about level
compatibility between dissimilar gear.
