Waldorf

Waldorf Electronics GmbH formed in 1988 following the creation of Wolfgang Palm's ’PPG Wavecomputer’ in 1980. This innovative German company went on to design a string of classic synthesisers, the Microwave, the Wave and the fabulous monphonic Pulse. Latter day projects include the Euro rack hosting KB37 and the wonderfully iconic Zarenbourg with 'play me' action keys and stunning Rhodes, Wurlitzer and Clavi sounds. Most recently the sensational Quantum being perhaps the most groundbreaking analogue/digital hybrid synth in recent memory. Hot on the heels comes Kyra - powered by FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) processing.
